Rachel Johnson, LAc

Rachel (she/her) is a Licensed Acupuncturist by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice and is board-certified in Acupuncture by the National Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She graduated with honors from the Master’s program of Acupuncture at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN, in 2016. During her time at NWHSU she interned at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute in both the inpatient and outpatient units treating Traumatic Brain Injuries, Strokes and Spinal Cord Injuries, as well as  The Salvation Army Harbor Lights Clinic in Minneapolis, where she treated low income individuals for a multitude of issues ranging from generalized pain and insomnia, to infertility and mental health.

Rachel fell in love with Traditional Chinese Medicine while in school because of the way it combined both medicine and art; She believes that being and staying well begins with whole body care and the use of many modalities. Her passion for holistic health, nature, as well helping others made Acupuncture an ideal career choice.

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time hula hooping, cooking and baking, being active outdoors with her dog Porter, crafting, and singing.
