Yin Yoga + Acupuncture

Join us for a deeply nourishing experience that blends the healing practices of gentle yoga, guided meditation, and acupuncture. Our yoga instructor, Nadia Alsadi will be leading a gentle Yin Yoga class, followed by community-style acupuncture with Autumn Drake LAc, as you rest comfortably on your yoga mats.

As we move into the autumn season, Traditional Chinese Medicine teaches us to begin turning inward—preparing our bodies and minds for the quieter, colder months ahead. This unique class supports that natural transition with calming movement, intentional breathwork, and restorative acupuncture designed to ground your energy and promote balance. You’ll leave feeling relaxed, centered, and more connected to yourself during this seasonal shift.

Accessible and welcoming to all levels—whether you're new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner—this is an opportunity to slow down, reset, and restore.

This class can be expected to last 75 minutes. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing that will allow you to move freely during yoga postures, as well as allow the acupuncturist to access your lower legs and arms. You may bring a light blanket and pillow or other props if desired. Yoga mats and yoga blocks are available for use at the studio, or you may bring your own.

Yin Yoga + Tuina

Unwind, restore, and relieve muscle tension in this unique class combining the deep release of Yin Yoga with the healing touch of Tuina bodywork, all from the comfort of your mat! 

Our yoga instructor Nadia Alsadi E-RYT, MS, BS will begin with a gentle, Yin Yoga practice, a still and meditative experience that targets the deep connective tissues of the body. Postures are held for several minutes, inviting space, stillness, and breath awareness. This slow-paced style helps restore balance in our fast-paced lives, encouraging a profound sense of inner calm and physical release.

During the yoga session you will remain on your mat as Said Isayed TCMD, offers hands-on Tuina adjustments, a therapeutic form of bodywork rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine to aid in stretching and correct posture. It involves deep tissue manipulation often along acupuncture points and meridians, stretching, and manipulation of the muscles, joints, and tendons. 

This small group class is ideal for those at any yoga level and those seeking a deeply restorative and grounding experience.

Pamela Grosam is a mystic sound alchemist, intuitive guide, and sacred space holder with nearly 30 years in the healing arts. She offers immersive sound healing journeys using crystal bowls, gongs, drums, and other high-frequency instruments. Rooted in ancient wisdom and intuitive listening, Pamela’s sound sessions invite deep rest and create a sacred space to reconnect with the body, breath, and inner guidance.

Ashley Steffensen is a licensed acupuncturist by the State of Minnesota Medical Board. She is board-certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She received her Bachelor’s in Health Sciences and her Master’s degree in Acupuncture and East Asian medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, WA, in 2015. Ashley recognises the diverse toolbox Chinese Medicine has to offer. She finds the best-suited of those tools to create a unique and evolving treatment strategy for each client.

Natalie (she/her) is a Massage Therapist who attended Arizona School of Integrative Studies in Tucson, Arizona. Her approach to bodywork includes a variety of modalities to address injuries, chronic pain, and postural issues including trigger point therapy, myofascial work, and deep tissue techniques. Having worked as a massage therapist in an addiction and trauma treatment program, she also believes massage to be a powerful tool to calm and reset the nervous system, aiding in stress relief and sleep. She especially loves working to reduce neck and back tension, sports massage, and prenatal massage. Her practice aims to be trauma-informed and welcoming of all bodies and genders.
